At The Drake Center, we know that obesity can greatly affect our pets’ overall health. Excess weight puts stress on the body, which can cause or exacerbate a number of conditions, including mobility and urinary problems. To address these special needs, we are now proud to offer two new Hill’s Prescription Diets at our hospital.
Prescription Diet Metabolic + Mobility Canine and Metabolic + Urinary Feline are two-in-one recipes designed to help pets lose weight while supporting joint and urinary health. Both combine the benefits of Hill’s Prescription Diet Metabolic formula, which promotes weight loss and management, with features from other prescription diets that address specific medical needs.
Metabolic + Mobility includes components of Prescription Diet j/d that promote joint health and flexibility in dogs with orthopedic issues or arthritis. These components can improve dogs’ ability to walk, run and jump while reducing stiffness and other symptoms.
Metabolic + Urinary includes components of Prescription Diet c/d Multicare that work to address urinary health conditions such as Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) and the underlying stress that often accompanies these issues.
Both diets are now available in dry and canned varieties at The Drake Center.
